Chatham Kent Metal Detecting Club - Sponsor

The Chatham Kent Metal Detecting club is an amazing group of people who are passionate about the hobby.

CKMDC meetings are at 7:00 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month at Erickson Arena, 341 Delaware Ave, Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Guests are always welcome.  At each meeting, members may enter their finds from the previous month in a Finds-Of-The-Month Competition. Meetings also consist of talks by club members or invited speakers, slide or video shows, artifact displays or demonstrations of new metal detecting products. 

The club is always accepting new members. Paid member take part in a number of club organized members only hunts and activities, and also assist in lost item recovery wherever possible.

Exciting news! For the 2nd year in a row, CKMDC is sponsoring the first hunt of the day at the Pull Tab Gear Seeded Beach Hunt. The club is organizing and seeding an incredibly fun hunt to get you warmed up for the day. Last year, the club seeded a variety of treasures including keys that would unlock prize boxes at their booth. Speaking of their booth...The club will have a Treasure box raffle again this year. They will be filling a Treasure box with another surprise assortment of treasure including cash and detecting accessories.  Make sure to stop by the CKMDC Tent if you'd like to participate in the draw. Draw tickets are cash only. 

The club will also be bringing their portable test garden. They have thoughtfully strung together a number of test items including the PTG Prize tokens, Gold, Silver, Clad and various other metals so participants can tune their machines to the terrain before the start of the day. This was a hit last year so we're glad they are doing it again.

We would love to take this opportunity to thank the entire club for participating again and helping us to make this an event to remember. A special thanks to Phil, Kathy, Andrew, Ken and John for your help with planning and organizing. We couldn't do this without you all.
